Read

These terms apply to every trek run by Wifi to Wild. By registering you confirm you have read them.

Booking and payment

  • A registration is a request for a place. A place is confirmed only when we confirm it in writing and receive the booking amount.
  • The balance is due before the date we tell you when confirming. Unpaid places may be released to others.
  • Prices are per person, in Indian rupees, and cover the inclusions listed on the trek page. Anything listed under exclusions is your own expense.

Cancellation and refunds

  • Tell us in writing as early as you can. Refunds depend on how close to departure you cancel and on costs we have already committed (permits, transport, crew).
  • If we cancel a batch, you may move to another batch or receive a full refund of what you paid us.
  • No refund is due if you leave a trek part-way or are asked to descend for safety reasons.

Health, fitness and safety

  • You must be fit for the grade of trek you register for and tell us honestly about any medical condition, injury or medication.
  • The trek leader's decisions on route, pace, weather, acclimatisation and descent are final. Safety comes before the summit.
  • Mountain trekking carries real risk. We strongly recommend travel and medical insurance that covers high-altitude trekking and evacuation.

Itinerary changes

Weather, snow, landslides, permits and local conditions can change the route, timing or campsites. We may alter the itinerary at any time to keep the group safe, without liability for resulting changes.

Conduct and the environment

  • Carry all waste down. No littering, no fires outside camp cooking, no disturbing wildlife or local communities.
  • Alcohol, smoking and loud music are not allowed on the trail or at camp.
  • We may remove anyone whose behaviour endangers or disturbs the group, without refund.
